Being Green And Organic

Green and organic in today's society.

In today's society, we are expected to be socially aware, and take responsibility, as to how we live our lives, treat others, raise our kids, and job requirements.

The key question is- are we ecologically aware, the is an answer which is variable, slowly we as individuals are waking up to the idea, that being green is good for you, and that we need to be responsible for the environment.

Every one has heard about the bigger charities and organizations which promote climate awareness, such as Greenpeace and what we should be doing to protect the environment, they have been telling us for decades, and most people ignored the warnings.

Nowadays though we are being asked to get involved at a local and global level, most people know about organic food and its benefits, and we see them day to day in supermarkets- the latest trend is to sell organic cotton, are they cashing in on the global need, or is it here to stay, they are doing their bit for the environment.

Whatever these answers are- we have a choice, buy green and ethical goods, fair trade or grow your own, recycle, be sustainable, the list is endless, but by doing this we are being told it helps to cut our carbon impact, so you get the feel good factor, or carry on as if nothing is happening to our environment, and be judged for not doing your bit, when our kids come home from school with latest green project!

We have a choice, get involved and reap the social rewards, and commit to supporting environmental change.

We are at a turning point, and the questions we are asking are valid, as all of us know deep down in our hearts, is that green and ethical living is here to stay, and will be a way of life in the next generation, so we have a responsibility to change now- before the climate does if for us.

We can move forward by supporting the carbon neutral ethic, use technology, but support this with offsetting in others ways, like planting trees, to compensate for petrol consumption, its not hard, we have all the necessary tools in place to be part of the global revolution to the green ethos.
